It's been two years since her last solo go 'round, and the former Destiny's Child front woman is now busy prepping for her latest outing, which is guaranteed to be a major production.
Backed by her all-female band, the 22-date trek will kick off June 21at Madison Square Garden in hubby Jay-Z's hometown of New York City. It will be followed by dates in Washington, D.C.; Philadelphia; and Atlanta, among others.
The Houston native was long announced as one of the main-stage headliners at the 15th anniversary of the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans on July 3. Some of the annual festival's other performers include Anita Baker, Ne-Yo, John Legend, Maxwell, Ledisi, Teena Marie and Beyonce's baby sister Solange. Following that stop, she'll tour nationwide before ending her run with a four-day stint at the Encore theater at the Wynn in Las Vegas. (Confirmed tour dates click here)
