According to TMZ, the Yonkers, New York-bred emcee, still under police custody, is currently in the process of being escorted across the country by police to the Maricopa County Jail. X's attorney, Bradford Cohen, has told TMZ his client would remain behind bars heading into Christmas at the Arizona facility.
As previously reported by SOHH, the former Ruff Ryders frontman was arrested earlier this month at mega producer Scott Storch's residence in Palm Island after a warrant was issued. X originally missed an Arizona court appearance where he was supposed to face various charges including animal cruelty, identity theft and drug possession.
He is currently being held on a $120,000 bond.
