I can't help but to mad that Jay-Z is rocking that nappy ass haircut in this video and what looks to be a tight ass leather jacket. I hope this video turns out to be a lot better than it looks. Props to Jay though for that Roc Nation situation. Let's see how the independent engine moves.

Clipse ft. Keri Hilson and Pharrell

"All Eyes On Me"

Clipse ft. Pharrell "I'm Good"

Got to give big props to my boys "The Clipse". Two of the most underated rappers in the game. Both those dude have enormous skill and have great music backing them. Check out the single off their next album "Till The Casket Drops" dropping soon.

Micheal Jackson Pronounced Dead

Today is a very sad day in American history and even pop culture. The king of Pop Michael Jackson has died from cardiac arrest. While the frenzy on Twitter and other sources were premeditated and claimed that MJ was dead when he was still on his deathbed, I decided to put up the official post about the Legend dying as soon as heard it announced on the news. Some people still don't be believe it and it's real sad. Here is the story from TMZ

"
Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II."

Update on the Perez Hilton and Will I Am beef

This is probably the biggest beef that popped that has yet to pop off in Pop culture. Two super Pop icons are beefing and I wonder why. Could it be that Will I Am and Perez had something going on in the past and now Perez is sour about it??? Hmmmm could be very true and also very gay.

Chris Breezy catches Felony Charge

Looks like Chris Brown finally pleaded guilty and got his sentence which was no jail time and 5 years probation. Read below...

Lawyers representing R&B singer Chris Brown announced a last-minute plea deal yesterday, forestalling the expected testimony of his former girlfriend, pop star Rihanna. Brown pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault, avoiding a prison sentence. Instead, Brown will serve up to five years of supervised probation and six months of community labor.

Brown stated his plea in a Los Angeles court, with Rihanna also present in the room. Judge Patricia M Schnegg imposed a stay-away order on the pair so that they remain at least 50 yards from each other. That distance is reduced to just 10 yards at industry events, but Schnegg warned Rihanna that she would be in violation of the order if she approached her former assailant.

Fif interview with Enuff

I'm proud of Enuff stepping up and starting his own show. He also took it back to the origins of 50 rather than just talk about the current bullshit going on.

Pushing Digital Album Sales on Twitter

I bumped into a very interesting article about people utilizing Twitter to bring awareness to album releases. This may not seem like a secret to you, but Twitter can be utilizes immensely if done correctly. Check out this article from Techcrunch...

On a panel at the 140 Characters Conference yesterday, Xavier Jernigan (@xjernigan, the director of digital marketing at Universal Motown Republic, described how Twitter help put one of his new artists, Asher Roth (@asherroth), on the map. Roth released his first album, Asleep In the Bread Aisle, on iTunes on April 20, a Monday. The night before he Tweeted out to his followers (he currently has 69,566) that the album would be on iTunes. And then he Tweeted out a short link which opened up to the album page in iTunes. With no other marketing, the album rose to become the No. 1 digital album for the week. Since then, it has sold about 100,000 copies. Update: As people point out in comments, Roth’s own team did a lot of groundwork before the album hit. Nevertheless, Twitter did play an important role in turning that early interest into iTunes sales. Read more
