TIP on VH1 Storytellers

I've always liked this show. They did this for Kanye, Mary J, 50, Snoop, and now it's TI's turn to do some Story-Telling.

Birdman Speaks on Lil Kim and Minaj Beef

Huge Shout out to XXLmag.com for this one.

I've always been a Birdman Fan, he always speaks some real sh*t.

According to Baby, neither him nor his label ever wanted to get involved in beef, but in this case he has to roll with the punches. “Well, you know with Nick we’re just doin’ music, I don’t care to get caught up in that and I don’t care to make money off of that,” he said. “We never fucked with that. It is what it is. That’s not our thing, but it is what it is so we gotta let it be what it be.”

Speaking on Kim’s initial problem with Nicki failing to give her respect publicly for paving the way for female rappers, Birdman said he disagrees. “Nicki is grown, Nicki does her own thing, I don’t think she has to— nobody has to salute or be saluted, we in this hustlin’,” he said. “The hustle gonna make you salute, just watchin’ a nigga grind and see how he shine. Nicki’s with her team, we ain’t doin’ nothing expect putting out good music. So if somebody’s fuckin’ with that, to me, they’re violating. Bullshit don’t weigh nothing, the grind and the money do.

Kanye Set to Sell 545,000 First week?

If you have not heard that new Kanye album, then you are truly missing out some something special. Kanye is by far the most artistic artist in all genres of music!

Check out what experts project on sales... via

Next weeks sales projections are in, and Kanye West is on track to top the charts once again. According to the industry insiders at hitsdailydouble.com, Mr. West’s critically-acclaimed new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, is estimated to sell around 525,000 to 575,000 copies in its first week on shelves, based off the one-day sales figures. If true, these numbers will surpass Yeezy’s last disc, 808s and Heartbreak—which sold about 450,100.

Nicki Minaj and Lloyd Banks are also set to impact The Billboard Top 200 next Wednesday (December 1). The Young Money Princess’s debut Pink Friday is projected to sell in the area of 375,000 to 425,000 while the G-Unit soldier’s The Hunger for More 2 is believed to move about 40,000 to 50,000 units.

Jay-Z’s The Hits Collection, Vol. 1 will also make it’s way onto to the charts with an estimated 25,000 to 30,000 in sales.

Stay tuned to XXLMag.com on Wednesday morning for the official Nielsen SoundScan numbers. —Elan Mancini
