LPCCD strives to develop audiences’ appreciation for contemporary, traditional and emerging artists by producing an annual music festival that further supports community revitalization efforts. Our goal is to present performances and multi-disciplinary expressions of outstanding artistic quality. We appreciate your donations which help this event free to the general public.

The Lincoln Park Music Festival is an annual event designed to help further revitalize Newark's historic Lincoln Park community. Over 40,000 people attended last year's festival. The Lincoln Park Music Festival has become a must do event and continues to be a community highlight each summer. More than forty performances were presented which included jazz legend James Moody, award winning gospel artists, The Clark Sisters, Broadway star Elisabeth Withers, international house music DJ Joe Claussell and hip hop icons KRS-One and Ice-T.
